A lot of my recent writing is about the tactical moves that actually shift how you're seen at work. I've covered how to escape the benchwarmer bucket before a manager's impression hardens, the underrated ways to stand out early in your career, and the career mistakes early professionals tend to make. The throughline is that small, repeatable habits, like weekly updates, sharper networking, even a well-written out-of-office message, compound into real momentum.
Becoming AI+ for the AI age
Level Up exists to help people become what we call AI+, and that question keeps pulling my focus. I've been writing about the skills AI can't replace and what leaders like Mark Zuckerberg are predicting about AI in tech, so professionals can get ahead of the shift instead of bracing against it.
Building Level Up
Day to day, I'm building Level Up alongside the team: a weekly newsletter, a video podcast, a membership community, leadership development courses, and custom AI GPTs for 24/7 coaching. It's been a real honor to see the work recognized lately, including a course featured as a top course in Leadership and Career on Maven.
On the lighter side
When I'm not building, I'm home in Honolulu with my wife and daughter. Our team also works in person in bursts, and we once kicked off an in-person workweek with a waterfall swim, which probably tells you something about how we like to operate.
